João Gabriel Rocha
Our head Professor, João Gabriel Rocha started training Jiu-Jitsu when he was only 3 years old. He got his first gold medal a year later. He kept training and achieved some goals that few athletes did, he was Brazilian National Champion in all belt colors, including 2 times as a black belt. Things were not always so easy for him. At the beginning of 2014 he found out he got cancer, right after getting his black belt. It was a hard battle for him, but he overcame it and now our professor is a world-class champion, fighting among the best athletes in the world.
